We go to the neighborhood of Rossio Square to enter the historic tram to the oldest quarter of Lisbon.
We will get off at the belvedere Portas do Sol.
Walk through de oldest quarter of Lisbon, Alfama.
Then we go through the lower town that is also known as the chessboard of the Marquis of Pombal, the neighborhood was rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755 aas well as the Commerce square with the 'Triumphal Arch'. View to the River Tagus.
On the pedestrian street 'Rua Augusta' go back to Rossio Square.
We walk to the place Restauradores the beginning of Avenida da Liberdade. There we admire the 'collection' perfect examples of buildings in Art Nouveau, Art Deco... The Old Hotel Avenida Palace, Hotel Eden, Palace Foz or zb. The Hard Rock Cafe.
Ride with the elevator Glória to S. Pedro de Alcântara. One of the most beautiful 'Miradouros' of Lisbon. Here you enjoy the view to the lower town, Baixa.
Visit the famous and valuable, São Roque Church (if open), with the typical Portuguese 'azulejos, tiles and gilded carvings.
